麓湖桥下艺术空间计划第一弹，以“运动”和“涂鸦”作为关键词，发起设计师驻留招募。最终入选的设计师罗曼·弗洛凯（Romain Froquet）来自法国，在继巴黎和迈阿密的在地创作之后，将在麓湖完成他中国第一个原创作品。

罗曼·弗洛凯（Romain Froquet）
自学成才的艺术家罗曼·弗罗凯（Romain Froquet）在90年代后期初涉创意领域。他的才华通过他的实践表现出来，这些实践基于重复的线条，并随着他自己的绘画语言的发展而逐渐完善。他的灵感来源于部落艺术和城市世界。他所创作的千变万化的艺术为各种形式的试验打开了大门。同时，他还探索了大量的媒介的使用，比如用中国的墨水在纸上作画，把材料和颜料结合到一起涂在画布上，或者是探索现场工作时的运动深度。他的首要考虑是寻求姿态的平衡。
Self-taught artist Romain Froquet first dipped his toe into the creative sphere in the late ‘90s. His talent expresses itself through his practice, based on the repetition of line and completed with the development of his own pictorial language. He draws on tribal art and the urban world as inspiration. His protean art opens the door to all manner of experimentation; he explores numerous media, drawing with Chinese ink on paper, working with material and colour on canvas in the workshop, and exploring depth of movement when working in situ. His principal preoccupation is the search for balance in gesture.
